Global Peoplehood Associate
Location: Baltimore, MD 21215
The Macks Center for Jewish Education (CJE) is seeking a creative and collaborative Global Peoplehood Associate to ensure that Israel education in Baltimore schools and in the community is effective and substantive. The Global Peoplehood Associate provides support and supervision for programs and initiatives that run from preschool age to adults in the Baltimore area.
What you Will Do:
Monitor, implement, supervise, and evaluate grant-funded Israel education people-to-people projects.
Assist in establishing relationships and developing an annual work plan for people-to-people projects funded through the partnership within the Israel education department.
Communicate and coordinate with Israeli project staff on an ongoing basis throughout the year.
Communicate with and train Baltimore teachers and other program staff on an on-going basis throughout the year.
Help ensure strong working relationships between all partners in all programs.
Monitor project budgets.
Expand circles of involvement in the schools among teachers, students, and parents.
Participate in annual conferences and access support through the Jewish Agency for Israel.
Report to Associated staff and funding committees.
Write and submit proposals and evaluation reports.
Coordinate with the entire Israel team on programming and new initiatives as requested by supervisor.

What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Jewish education or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of Israel and Israeli society.
Proficient in Hebrew.
Experience working in schools.
Supervisory experience.
Experience in program planning and implementation.
Well-organized.
Knowledge of Jewish holidays and customs
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
